Shuttle Schedule
Friday, June 2, 2023
3pm – 8pm
There will be 1 shuttle bus that will loop from the hotels downtown (Microtel, Atrium, Quality Inn) to the Holiday Inn, then to the Eagles Club, then back to the hotels.
Sunday, June 4 2023
3:30am
Warriors from Quality Inn, Microtel, or the Holiday Inn will need to provide their own transportation Atrium’s parking lot (Microtel & Quality are within walking distance).
Mark Twain Lake
- There will be 1 shuttle bus that will arrive @ the Atrium parking lot @ 3:30am & will shuttle warriors to Mark Twain Lake @ the Mark Twain Hwy 107 Ramp.
- Please be loaded on the bus NO LATER than 3:45am
Hamilton, IL/Chaney Creek
- A FFF Board member will drive warriors from the Atrium parking lot to the Hamilton, IL Chaney Creek boat ramp

Practical Tactical Plus – Indoor Shooting Range
1 Industrial Drive La Grange, MO
- For those not pre-fishing, the indoor shooting range will be available for use
- The range fee will be waived for active Military & Veterans with valid Military ID
- Must supply your own ammo and gun, or purchase ammo from PTP and rent your firearm from PTP
- Fishing For Freedom will not provide transportation to PTP
4pm - 8pm
Meet & Greet
(optional – good opportunity to meet with partner & make plans for the weekend)

Great opportunity for Boaters & Warriors to get to know each other & prepare for tournament. You will need to make your own arrangements

Veterans Home Fishing Tournament
For Veterans Home Residents - 1707 N 12th St Quincy, IL
8:30am – Volunteers arrive
9:00-9:45am – Volunteers bring Veterans to the pond
10:00am – National Anthem, Presentation of Colors, fishing follows
Lunch & Awards once fishing has concluded

Lunch will be available at the Illinois Veterans Home for all Warriors
This would be a great opportunity to Volunteer as well
12pm – 3pm

Dinner is followed by raffles and live auction

Fishing Rodeo
Fishing from 6am-12pm
You may launch your boat at any open public ramp within the body of water you have specified to fish at check-in, but must be at your weigh-in location no later than 12pm** to avoid weight penalties
**If fishing Mississippi Pools 19-20, you must be at the Chaney Creek weigh in no later than 11:30am; Dralle weigh-in begins at 11am

Immediately after the final convoy makes its way through the Quincy weigh-in line
Lodging Information
Lodging requirements for our qualified Warrior participants will be paid for in full by Fishing For Freedom - Quincy sponsors and donors. Warriors must live more than 30 minutes from Quincy to qualify for a paid room. Our registration committee will contact you with your lodging information in March.
If you have any special needs or accessibility issues, please make sure to make a note of it in the comments block on the registration form, or send us an email. There will be several special needs accessible rooms available.
If your plans change and you are unable to attend the event after making your reservation, please contact our registration committee to cancel your reservation.
Lodging is available for Boaters that live greater than one hour away from Quincy, Illinois or Mark Twain Lake area at several different hotels in Quincy and one hotel in Monroe City, MO (near Mark Twain Lake). Some of the locations are within a block from the Mississippi River. Those that specify that a room is needed and meet the distance requirement will a couple of options from the registration committee of which hotels we have a block of rooms saved for the event. Volunteer Boaters are responsible for their making their individual reservations.
